As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Duties in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter points to help identify unauthorized activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with location requirements.
• Support security-related operations in an industrial chemical location by observing site conditions, documenting findings, and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
