As a Security Officer Reception Operations Specialist in Hicksville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area by verifying visitors, issuing badges or credentials, and directing patients, guests, and/or vendors in accordance with site procedures.
  • Answer questions, receive incoming calls, and communicate with staff, visitors, and/or responders in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations at the front desk by documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel according to post instructions.
  • Support daily front desk operations by maintaining accurate visitor logs, monitoring entry activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
