As a Security Officer - Visitor Access Control  in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location as a Front Desk Professional, greeting visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors, verifying identification, and following site-specific access procedures for a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, visitor logs, badges, keys, and/or access requests while helping to support security-related procedures and front desk operations.
  • Answer phones, direct guests, receive deliveries, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues to the appropriate contact.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor check-in activity, incident details, and daily front desk reports while following Allied Universal standards and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
