As a Security Officer  Armed Association Mobile  in Pembroke Pines, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to property management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and address policy violations, trespassing concerns, and/or resident complaints in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support after-hours coverage by observing surroundings, checking for unusual conditions such as unsecured doors or gates, and communicating security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, corrections or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
• Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associate Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
