Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and help manage the flow of visitors, vendors, and staff in accordance with location protocols and assigned post instructions.
  • Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with routine requests, answering questions, and communicating with staff during security-related incidents and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that may include morgue areas.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
