As a Security Officer Entry Assurance Agent in Plant City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures that help to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with post orders and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site personnel and/or emergency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation related to daily operations, access events, and security-related concerns observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
