As a Security Officer Checkpoint Driver in Three Rivers, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols that help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, and restricted zones, to help identify unusual activity and support access control operations.
• Assist with emergency response activities, follow location-specific post orders, and communicate clearly with personnel regarding access restrictions, deliveries, and temporary site changes.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
