As a Security Officer Patrol Field Specialist in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or delivery areas in accordance with site procedures, helping to support authorized entry and report policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation while observing the location for hazards, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and other property-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
