As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site access procedures. This role combines visible presence, strong communication, and customer service to help deter security-related incidents. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first while acting with integrity and supporting daily operations through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and entry and exit documentation at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor assigned entry points, verify identification and/or delivery information, and help to deter unauthorized access while following post orders and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting observations in required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, trailer yards, loading and receiving areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
