What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a highly regulated aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, production areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry to sensitive areas.
  • Prepare detailed reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy violations, and assist with follow-up actions involving security-related concerns, workplace disruptions, and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the military, law enforcement, or verifiable armed security experience.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
