As a Security Officer Medical Campus Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, support visitor direction, and communicate unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support healthcare operations by documenting incidents, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and coordinating with site contacts during medical, fire, and/or other critical events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPO certification is required.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
