As a Security Officer Driver Entry Screening in Mount Vernon, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, helping manage site entry, verify credentials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $16.92 - $17.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and visitor activity while verifying credentials, authorizing entry, and documenting access according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the building perimeter, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and other restricted spaces.
• Observe site activity and report suspicious behavior, damaged barriers, and/or unauthorized access attempts to help support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
