Job Description


As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a leading healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe foot and vehicle traffic to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor management practices, and/or communicate security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with de-escalation, directions, and general support during routine operations and/or elevated situations while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when necessary.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
