As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post combines armed presence with customer service and communication, supporting daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or shoppers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, theft-related concerns, and/or trespassing issues, and communicate with site leadership, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Maintain readiness with authorized equipment and follow all post orders related to armed assignments, access control, incident response, and customer-facing interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
