As a Security Officer Diploma Required Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions varying by post.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or unusual activity.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required for this DPSS/DHS assignment.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required for this DPSS/DHS assignment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
