Job Description


As a Security Officer Level III Armed Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while contributing to a caring and innovative culture that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post at a financial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value access points, verifying credentials and reporting policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
  • Maintain readiness for armed post responsibilities by following assigned protocols, handling security-related equipment in accordance with training, and completing required reports before, during, and/or after shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
