As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Bryan, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, vendor, and contractor access in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior areas, gates, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
• Support truck, delivery, and employee traffic flow by observing access control points, reporting suspicious behavior, and completing required logs and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
