As a Security Officer Access Point Attendant in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage entry activity, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and strong communication. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine patrols, and deliver a caring, reliable presence that reflects teamwork, integrity, and innovative service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the verification of credentials, shipping paperwork, and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support daily logistics and distribution operations by observing trailer activity, reporting unusual behavior or conditions, and following post orders related to access, property control, and security-related reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
