As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver in Fernley, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards, unusual conditions, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access credentials when required, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or operational disruptions according to site protocols.
  • Support site operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, preparing incident reports, and assisting with traffic, deliveries, and visitor processing in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
