Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with site protocols and shipping or distribution requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, screening areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or operational disruptions by maintaining an attentive presence at designated screening points and high-traffic areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
