As a Security Officer Reception Coordinator in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will be a welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, greet visitors, support security-related procedures, and provide strong customer service. In this stationary role, you will use communication and computer skills to support daily operations while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach, with teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, checking credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and/or communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals and departures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Answer phones, manage front desk communications, and support the flow of drivers, vendors, employees, and/or guests in accordance with site policies.
  • Observe activity at the front desk and surrounding entry areas and report unusual, suspicious, and/or unauthorized activity according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
