What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and property-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity to help support authorized entry, visitor processing, and compliance with property rules and post orders.
• Assist with routine inspections of doors, gates, lighting, and other key areas, and help communicate maintenance, life-related, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
