As a Security Officer CPO Armed Mobile Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry when required, while assisting with campus rules, directions, and general questions from the public.
• Support emergency protocols by communicating with local authorities, campus contacts, and site leadership during alarms, medical calls, and/or other urgent events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
