As a Security Officer Access Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site access procedures. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication while advancing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture built on integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, authorizing entry and/or exit, and following location protocols for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas, document activity in required logs and/or systems, and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and security-related incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support emergency response activities, evacuations, and communication during changing conditions at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and designated access points, helping to identify unauthorized activity, unsecured openings, and conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Assist with screening procedures for vehicles, materials, and personnel as directed by site policies, while maintaining professional interactions and supporting compliance with location rules and security-related requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
