Job Description


As a Security Officer Computer Assisted Patrol in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.07 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant activity to property management and/or emergency contacts as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions needing attention.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, observe cameras and alarm indicators as assigned, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations according to post procedures.
  • Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs, and support Allied Universal and site personnel with security-related requests and visitor assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
