As a Airport Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time, Dayshift

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• 20+ Years of Age

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and restricted areas, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
• Assist with directions, information, and general support while maintaining awareness of surroundings and documenting incidents, observations, and/or daily activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
