Job Description


As a Security Officer Guest Relations Associate in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, support security-related protocols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this highly visible role, you will help create a positive first impression while supporting daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, verify visitor access in accordance with site protocols, and communicate with building personnel regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or access requests.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and adherence to post instructions.
  • Maintain awareness of building activity, assist with badge or credential processes when applicable, and provide information and direction consistent with property procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
