Job Description


As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government court location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team in a professional public-facing environment.

Pay Rate: $22.83 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, offices, hallways, entrances, exits, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor movement within the location, assisting with entry procedures, directions, and policy compliance while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support daily court-related operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and addressing security-related concerns in a respectful and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
