Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in a residential apartment location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, common areas, and visitor activity while following property rules and assisting with security-related concerns in a professional manner.
  • Support residential operations by communicating with residents and staff, addressing routine issues, and completing required reports, logs, and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
