Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access within the residential location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation while communicating clearly with residents, management, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
