As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Mall in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while assisting visitors, employees, and tenants throughout the property.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that need attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Communicate with local site contacts, mall management, and/or emergency personnel as needed while providing visible presence and support for day-to-day security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
