As a Security Guard FT Unarmed Patrol in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, common areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and foot traffic, assist with directional information and general inquiries, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by observing customer and employee activity, helping to address security-related concerns, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
