Join Allied Universal at a government corrections location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.24 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site protocols and post instructions.
  • Support daily operations by completing required reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following established post orders, radio procedures, and incident escalation guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
