As a Security Officer Intake Screener in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries entering the location by checking identification, verifying access authorization, and following established entry procedures.
  • Monitor entry points and screening equipment, document unusual activity, and report concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting site personnel and the public with clear directions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
