Job Description


As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Princeville, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, exterior grounds, and other common areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations according to Allied Universal and location guidelines.
  • Support hotel and resort operations by assisting with directions, documenting daily activity, and communicating clearly with guests, staff, and management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
