Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Downtown Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an unarmed patrol professional with driving responsibilities. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related needs throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing, warehouse, office, and/or perimeter areas to help identify suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, delivery issues, and/or access concerns to the appropriate contact.
  • Support emergency response activities by communicating with site personnel, assisting with crowd management, and helping to direct people during alarms, evacuations, and/or other disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
