Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor directions and entry procedures, and document security-related activities, incidents, and/or concerns according to site protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating with patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous manner and following post orders related to healthcare operations and security-related needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of security-related experience are required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Hospital morgue experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field are required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
