Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol Driver DoD Clearance in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities with professionalism. Pay Rate: $26.01 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age and must have a valid driver's license

Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a highly regulated location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and support compliance with location rules, badge procedures, and property control practices.
  • Support assigned operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and public agency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
