As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while contributing to a reliable and professional environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, observing visitor activity, and reporting unauthorized or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining assigned post duties, and assisting with customer service needs while following Allied Universal standards and location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
