As a Security Officer for Shipping Facility in Compton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. At a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will welcome visitors, verify credentials, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, loading and receiving zones, and other designated access points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
