Job Description


As a Security Officer Badge Validation Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This is a driving post. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and communicate clearly while delivering security-related support with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting authorized entry and exit activities.
  • Monitor entry points, check identification, review access permissions, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or visitor activity in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, parking areas, and restricted access points, noting conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical location by helping to deter unauthorized access, maintaining awareness of site rules, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
