As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Mooresville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the opportunity to support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate with professionalism while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and delivery information, and support adherence to location rules, posted instructions, and restricted area requirements.
  • Assist with incident reports, daily activity logs, and communication with site personnel regarding security-related matters, operational disruptions, and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
