As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Screener in a busy food and beverage location, you will greet guests, monitor entry points, and support screening procedures that help reduce security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Screen individuals and personal items at designated entry points in accordance with post instructions, reporting unusual activity, restricted items, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting security-related response procedures as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, assist with directions and questions, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions and communicating maintenance, housekeeping, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
