Systems Service Technician (Service Tech) is responsible for trouble shooting and repairing of: Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Extinguisher, Security Alarm, Entry Access, Camera system, Telephone wire, Network Data wire, and other low voltage and fire systems, as well as installing and testing the same. The Technician will provide periodic certification testing of fire alarm systems and emergency exit systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Trouble shooting and repairing of: Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Extinguisher, Security Alarm, Entry Access, Camera system, Telephone wire, Network Data wire, and other low voltage and fire systems, as well as installing and testing the same. The Technician will provide periodic certification testing of fire alarm systems and emergency exit systems. The Technician communicates with property owners, managers, maintenance managers, AUSS managers and Service Coordinators.Below are the minimum requirments:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have minimum 3 or more years of experience with trouble shooting, repairing and Certifying the following systems: Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Extinguisher, Security Alarm, Entry Access, Camera system, Telephone wire, Network Data wire or other low voltage & Fire systems where required, adhering to local requirements and UL approved methods and means. Must be able to be sent to diagnose, repair and install multiple types of systems from beginning to end including programming and the demo of the product to the customer WITHOUT help from his supervisor with the technical aspects unless it's a system he is being brought up to speed on.
LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to clearly speak, read and write English. Demonstrated knowledge of effective mathematical techniques & principles. Effective ability to communicate orally and in written form with all levels of management, coworkers and customers. Outstanding presentation skills required, with proactive ability to build relationships.
Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues. Ability to effectively identify client/potential client needs and communicate proactive security solutions, effectively utilizing all USA services.
