As a Security Officer Full Time Armed CPO in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an armed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or daily activity as required.
• Support cash handling and other high-value operational areas through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious activity to appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Certified Protection Officer certification is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
