Join Allied Universal as an armed Screener at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors and employees, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role combines strong customer service, visible presence, and clear communication to help maintain order, help to deter incidents, and deliver a reliable experience through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $37.53 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the property, and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or suspicious items through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting property staff, tenants, and/or visitors during security-related events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building entrances, lobbies, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
  • Complete required logs, incident reports, and screening documentation, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily operations and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
