As a Security Officer Access Screening in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor site activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access at gates, entrances, and/or shipping and receiving areas by verifying identification, credentials, delivery information, and authorized access permissions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Document visitor, vehicle, trailer, and/or delivery activity, maintain accurate access logs, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including access points, parking areas, and dock surroundings, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
