Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Full Time in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at an aero and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions, unusual activity, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required logs and reports.
  • Support emergency response activities by following post orders, communicating clearly with site personnel and/or first responders, and assisting with orderly directions during unusual events or facility disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
