As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Latrobe, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. This unarmed patrol role calls for professionalism, compassion, and integrity while working as part of a reliable team that puts people first and responds with agility to daily needs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas, offering directions and support while reporting suspicious, disruptive, and/or policy-related concerns.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related duties based on the needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
