Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, property concerns, and/or policy violations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and timely reporting.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor interactions, and resident-related concerns while maintaining professionalism and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a guard card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
